What is AIAA?
The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is a national forum for professionals within the aerospace industry. At the student level, the AIAA Minnesota Student Chapter works toward a similar mission of aligning students with interests in aeronautics and astronautics within the College of Science and Engineering and the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics.
We are involved with student engineering projects, outreach events, organizing laboratory tours, and helping students connect with industry professionals through sponsored talks. The Student Chapter at University of Minnesota is working to build a community of students within the College of Science and Engineering who are passionate about the aerospace industry.
